Premier Inaugurates Media Projects

DAMASCUS ,(ST)_ Prime Minister Dr. Wael al-Halqi inaugurated here Saturday  Talaqi Satellite TV Station and  Syriana FM   Radio. The two pilot projects constitute an integral part of expanding Syrian news networks.

In a press statement, the prime minister pointed out that the Syrian media is working relentlessly, as to encounter, and refute false and fabricated allegations raised by the “forces of darkness” which  provide the armed terrorist groups with money, weapons  ,training  and safe haven.

“We will proceed forwards to achieve ultimate victory. The two said media centers will tackle various issues of concern to the Syrian citizens, ” the prime minister said .

Premier al-Halqi underlined the role of the Syria media to cement national unity,  bolster national reconciliation, and enhance the spirit of tolerance  among all Syrians.

For his part, the Information Minister Omran al-Zou’bi underscored  that the opening of the Radio and the TV Satellite Stations is  an added value to the Syrian Media, noting that  they will  be  a new , free and democratic venue to represent  Syria ‘s real and true image in all walks of life.
