MP. Omar Ousi: Hundreds join Syrian Kurds national resistance force north of Syria

Head of the Syrian Kurds National Initiative MP. Omar Ousi has confirmed that hundreds of fighters from Efrin, Ein Arab , Qamishli and Aleppo city have joined the ‘ Syrian Kurds National Resistance Forces’, which is being formed by the initiative in areas of Tal Hasel, Tal Eren and Aleppo countryside.

He made it clear that the official Syrian flag with a single star is the badge of the resistance force.

Speaking to the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper, the MP stressed that Syrian government supports the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and every national bloc fighting terrorist organizations.

“The YPG supported by Syrian Arab army recaptured Bistan al-Bash district, located east of Aleppo city,” he added, pointing out that 90% of the Syrian Democratic Forces is composed of fighters from the YPG plus some Arab tribes and scores of Christians.

“There are meetings taking place between Syrian army’s leaders and the YPG’s leaders either in Hasaka province or in Hmeimim airbase brokered by Russia. The Russian military leadership in the airbase sent invitations to all Kurdish groups affiliated to the Kurdish National Council or to the Democratic Union Party for meeting in the airbase in order to reach rapprochement among them. But most of the groups rejected the invitation because some of them are still betting on the US project in Syria,” Ousi said.

He reiterated that the US has sold out Syrian Kurds  to Turkey since  the visit made by the US Vice-President Joe Biden to Ankara few months ago.

The MP, in addition, underlined that Palmyra was recently recaptured by ISIS terrorists after the Americans lost their tools in Aleppo city. “Over 6000-7000 ISIS fighters were brought from Mosul and al-Ramadi areas in Iraq and from Raqqa under the eye of Turkish aircrafts in order to divert attention from Syrian army’s victories in Aleppo in accordance with the US plot.”

“I think that coordination between the YPG , Syrian Arab army and the other allied forces will increase in Aleppo and it will expand to al-Bab city and to other areas,” Ousi concluded.
