Washington, (ST)-American media outlets continue reporting fake news about events in Syria in the service of Washington’s policies and schemes against the country and the entire region.
According to the State news agency SANA, an example of this disinformation policy was made clear in a new CNN video showing an Aleppo kid, who left terrorist-held areas, telling the network broadcaster that the terrorist starved the city and “we were afraid that we’d starve to death..starve to death”. The boy said the same thing twice. He literally added two words at the end which are “starve to death”, but CNN translated his words as: “we were also scared because heavy bombs were falling.”
The video shows clearly that the CNN was putting words in this kid’s mouth as he didn’t say: “We were also afraid because of heavy bombs were falling”. He just repeated what he had said.
The United states and its allies in the region are leading a hysterical disinformation and misleading campaign to distort the image in Syria and falsify facts to serve certain agendas.
Such false news aim to cover the shame of lying US media outlets as it was finally revealed that civilians in Aleppo are overjoyed now that the terrorists, described by Washington as “moderate opposition”, have been kicked out of the city.
Renowned British writer and journalist Patrick Cockburn has criticized Western media biased coverage of Syria events, stressing that western journalists adopt the stories of unidentified sources, or so- called “eye witnesses” to report about events in Syria ignoring the possibilities that these sources may be affiliated to the terrorist organizations.
In a recent report, the US “Moon of Alabama” website stressed that western newspapers and agencies are based and they are paying writers, diplomats and experts to convey distorted image about what is going on in Syria in general and in Aleppo in particular.
