Russia Seeks Cooperation with All Countries Willing to Fight Terrorism: Zasypkin

BEIRUT, (ST)- Russia’s Ambassador to Lebanon Alexandr Zasypkin has stressed that his country seeks cooperation with all the countries which want to fight terrorism.

In a statement during a meeting held on Sunday in the South Lebanese town of al- Zrariyeh, Zasybkin reiterated that Syria and Russia are working together in the fight against terrorism, pointing out that the Russian presence in Syria came at the request of the legitimate Syrian government.

 Regarding the Palestinian cause, Zasypkin asserted the need to adopt a unified Arab and Palestinian stance towards this cause in order to start finding solutions.
