Nasrallah: Region Entered New Era and Some Schemes are on the Edge of Collapse and Inevitable Defeat

BEIRUT, (ST)- Hizbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has stressed that the region has entered a new era and some schemes are on the edge of collapse and inevitable defeat, pointing out that the impacts of the promised and imminent victory in Aleppo will reflect on the entire battle in Syria and the region.

In a televised statement Friday night, Nasrallah said some Western countries have sponsored, funded and supported terrorism in the region which is a fact admitted and confirmed  by US President-elect Donald trump, by Vice –President Joe Bidon, by the Hillary Clinton’s e-mails and by senior US security and military officials and diplomats.

On Hizbollah’s relation with the new Lebanese President Michel Oun, Nasrallah said “our relationship with President Michel Aoun and the leadership of the Free Patriotic Movement is excellent and it will always be based on deep trust that was established in the most critical times.”

He pointed out that all the Lebanese are in front of a new crucial period which will draw new relations for the benefit of Lebanon with all countries except the Israeli enemy.

On the formation of the Lebanese government, Nasrallah referred to eliminating some obstacles hindering forming this government which will be that of national unity with the task of putting election law and hold the elections on set time.

He stressed that accusing Hizbollah of blocking the formation of the government is a failed policy aiming at achieving political wins.
