Army Command Urges Residents of Liberated Northeastern Districts of Aleppo to Return to Their Houses
ALEPPO, (ST)-The General Command of the Army and Armed Forces has called on residents of the northeastern neighborhoods of Aleppo to return to their houses as the Syrian army has restored security and stability there and the state institutions have started rehabilitation works in these neighborhoods, a statement by the Command said on Saturday.
Hundreds of families returned to their houses in Masaken Hanano district over the past two days after the army and supportive forces have expelled the terrorists and restored security to the area and the concerned authorities have started working to rehabilitate utilities and provide necessary services.
Earlier today, Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab said that Aleppo governorate’s services institutions are working around the clock to restore and fix what the terrorist groups had damaged in the city of Aleppo.
He stressed that all in the governorate of Aleppo are in a state of high alert to provide all services to the neighborhoods liberated from terrorists by the army as to facilitate the return of the locals.
During the past two days, the army and its allied forces managed to restore full security and stability to a number of districts in the eastern parts of Aleppo, including the Youth Housing, Scientific Research Housing, al-Haidariya, al-Sakhour, al-Inzarat, al-Sheikh Khedr, al-Sheikh Saeed, Jabal Badro, and al-Halk, in addition to Sleiman al-Halabi water station and large parts of Bustan al-Basha, al-Halwaniya, al-Jazmati, al-Bab road, and Karm and Qaterji.
