Army kills a large number of terrorists

Provinces – An army unit thwarted Jabhat al-Nusra- linked terrorist group in al-Lajat area, about 75 km north of Daraa city in the countryside of Daraa Province.

A military source said that an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group which attempted to attack one of the military posts in al-Lajat area in the Province, SANA reported.

 

The army foiled the terrorists’ attack, killing most of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition, while the rest fled towards the desert, according to the source.

Lattakia

Meanwhile, a unit of the army killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their ammunition in concentrated strikes against their gatherings in Fullah village in Lattakia northern countryside.
