Army Secures Exit of 1500 People from Aleppo Eastern Neighborhoods

 ALEPPO, (ST)- 1500 people managed on Sunday to leave the eastern districts of Aleppo with the help of the Syrian army after being trapped by takfiri terrorist organizations there.

A filed Commander  told SANA reporter that “Syrian army units today afternoon secured the exit of 1500 people, most of them women and children, from the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo and took them to makeshift centers in cooperation with concerned  parties in the governorate.”

 A  number of families took advantage of the advances made by the Syrian army and its allied and supportive forces in Masaken Hanano area and left the eastern districts towards the army positions where military personnel received them and moved them to safe place, SANA reporter said citing a source at Aleppo governorate.

According to the reporter, concerned parties in the governorate are on high alert to receive the locals and meet all their needs.

Yesterday, hundreds of citizens, including women and children, who were trapped by the terrorist groups in Aleppo districts of Bustan al-Qaser and al-Saleheen find their way out of the area and reached army positions. They were taken to safe place and get their basic needs met by concerned parties in Aleppo governorate.

On Saturday, terrorists positioned in al-Haidariyeh neighborhood attacked tens of civilians with rockets and gunfire as they were moving from the eastern neighborhoods to Syrian Army positions in Hanano area. Three people were martyred and 22 others were injured, most of them women and children.

Terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra, Nour Eddin al-Zenki , and Ahrar al-Sham Terror groups have besieged thousands of civilians in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo. They prevent the locals from leaving across the humanitarian corridors, set up by the Syrian government in cooperation with the Russian side to evacuate civilians and wounded people, and used them as human shields.
