More Civilians Find Their Way out of Terrorist-Held Eastern Neighborhoods of Aleppo

ALEPPO, (ST)- A new batch of locals, trapped by the terrorist takfiri organizations in the eastern districts of Aleppo, on Friday found their way out of the area with the help of the Syrian Army.

23 civilians, most of them women and children, were ensured safe exit by Syrian army units which made major advances in Masaken Hanano area. The army moved the locals to safe place where they received necessary care and have their requirements met by concerned bodies in Aleppo governorate, according to SANA reporter.

Aleppo Governor Hussein Deyab and Aleppo Baath Party Branch Secretary Ahmad Saleh Ibraheem received the locals at the party headquarters in the governorate.

New Birth

Loui Qabbani, who expressed his happiness for exiting the districts together with his wife and five children, said “we feel as if we were born again. Surviving the terrorists crimes equals a new birth for us”, he stressed.

He pointed out that his family experienced very difficult circumstances. The children were deprived from education and all basic requirements of life, expressing gratitude for the Syrian Arab Army for helping them getting rid of terrorist groups.

On his part, Mohammad Riad al-Yousef said he suffered heart problems and he didn’t receive any health care in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo, because the gunmen have exclusive access to  medicine and food.

Ahmad al-Yousef, son of Mohammad Riad al-Yousef, said he was a soldier in the Syrian Arab Army and today, he took part in the major military operation against the terrorists in Masaken Hanano. He added he managed to reach his house and meet his family, whom he hasn’t seen for more than four years. He helped move his family and other families to outside the area.

Earlier today, SANA reporter said that another batch of people fled the atrocities of the terrorists in the Aleppo eastern districts and managed to reach Syrian army positions where they were provided with transportation and all their needs by concerned parties.

Terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra, Nour Eddin al-Zenki , and Ahrar al-Sham Terror groups have besieged thousands of civilians in the eastern neighborhoods of Aleppo. They prevent the locals from leaving across the humanitarian corridors, set up by the Syrian government in cooperation with the Russian side, and used them as human shields.
