Foreign Interests Fuel War against Syria: French Activist

French humanitarian activist in Aleppo city has underscored that the crisis in Syria is the result of foreign interests and ideology that aim to instill the culture of death in the country through destroying its history and killing its people’s hope.

Pierre Le corf said on his Facebook page that the war against Syria has been fueled in accordance with foreign interests, criticizing what he described as ‘malevolent and accomplice’ western outlets that don’t convey facts and turn a blind eye to the killing of civilians in Syria by terrorist organizations’ mortar attacks.

He also talked about the painful situation in Aleppo city caused by shelling being carried out by terrorists, who are called ‘moderate opposition’ by the West, according to Tishreen newspaper.

“Terrorists killed many people in Aleppo city by mortar and rocket attacks,” the activist said, referring to the terror rocket attack that targeted ‘al-Forqan’ School in the city of Aleppo yesterday, killing 8 school children aged between 7 and 12 years and wounding 27 others.

Le corf asserted that terrorists prevent civilians from leaving the eastern part of Aleppo city in order to use them as human shields. “Scores of civilians are being killed each day by exploding bullets, while many other persons have been killed during their attempts to leave through the safe corridors towards Syrian army-held areas.

“Terrorists impose fees on the civilians who want to leave the city of Aleppo,” the activists confirmed, adding that civilians do not have enough money due to the current difficult situation in the city.

Over the past months, Aleppo city has witnessed the fiercest fighting between Syrian army and its allies on the one hand and foreign-backed terrorist organizations on the other hand.
