Army thwarts ISIS attack on military posts in Deir Ezzor

Provinces – Army and Armed Forces units continued on Sunday their military operations against the Takfiri terrorist organizations in many areas, inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists’ ranks and equipment, SANA reported.

Deir-Ezzor

Army units thwarted an attack of ISIS terrorists on military posts in al-Jafra area to the southeast of Deir-Ezzor city.

 

Most of the terrorists were either killed or injured and three of their vehicles were destroyed during the clashes with the army units.

Moreover, a number of ISIS terrorists were killed in a military operation against their hideouts in Hweijet Saker to the southeast of the city.

Aleppo

An army unit destroyed a SUV car equipped with machinegun and killed more than 17 ISIS terrorists in Deir Hafer area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province.

Homs

An army unit foiled an attack by the ISIS terrorists on military posts in al-Qaryatain area in the eastern countryside of Homs central province, killing a number of the terrorists and destroying two vehicles equipped with machine guns.
