Army establishes control over al-Hikma School in Aleppo province, continues targeting terrorists in other areas

Provinces – Army and Armed Forces units on Wednesday continued targeting terrorists across the country, establishing control over al-Hikma School in Aleppo’s western countryside, SANA reported.

Aleppo

A military source said that army units in cooperation with the supporting forces and allies advanced further in Aleppo’s western countryside by regaining control over al-Hikma School to the west of 1070 Apartments residential project to the west of the military academies.

 

The source said that the operations resulted in inflicting losses in personnel and equipment on terrorists, most of whom were from Jabhat al-Nusra, and that army units and supporting forces are continuing to advance and are pursuing terrorists in the direction of al-Rashideen 4, killing and injuring dozens of terrorists.

Daraa

A military source said that Army and Armed Forces units shot down 14 RC drones used by terrorists in an attempt to carry out reconnaissance and target a number of military positions.

Quneitra

Army and Armed Forces units, aided by popular defense groups, thwarted an attempt by terrorist organizations to attack a number of military posts to the east of Hadar town in the northern countryside of Quneitra province.

A military source said that army units clashed with the terrorists who had attacked in large numbers, and the clashes resulted in killing scores of the attacking terrorists, most of them affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra, and in destroying their vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machineguns.

Another army unit targeted terrorist organizations’ gatherings and their supply routes in Qabaa al- Hamriyeh, al-Nakkar al-Gharbi, Jebbata al-Khashab, Hersh Tranjeh, Dar Saeed, and Badriyeh in the countryside of the province, killing a number of their members and destroying their vehicles.

The source added that an army unit destroyed vehicles and gatherings for terrorist groups affiliated with Jabhat al-Nusra in the village of Mashara in the eastern countryside of the province.

Deir Ezzor

A military source stated that the Syrian Air Force and the Army and Armed Forces’ artillery destroyed an SUV vehicle equipped with a heavy machinegun, a mortar launcher, and a bulldozer used by ISIS terrorists in al-Tharda Mountain and along the eastern barricade of Deir Ezzor Airport.
