DAMASCUS, (ST)-People’s Assembly (PA) on Monday condemned the toxic gas attack by terrorist organizations against residential areas in Aleppo, calling for punishing the terror groups and holding their supporters accountable for this crime and for other crimes committed by the takfiri terrorists in different parts of Syria.
In a condemnation statement made at the beginning of the 8th ordinary session of the PA’s second legislative term, PA Speaker Hadiya Abbas said “the People’s Assembly of the Syrian Arab Republic condemns with the strongest terms the gas attack launched yesterday by terrorists groups against our army and civilian people in Aleppo and denounces the international community’s silence as regards this crime.”
Abbas added that “the Assembly calls on all countries and governments which support or give a blind eye to the terrorists’ crimes to shoulder their political and humanitarian responsibility and hold the criminals and the parties supporting them for well known colonialist agenda accountable”.
Terrorist organizations affiliated to Turkish and Saudi regimes targeted on Sunday al-Hamadaniyeh area and al-Assad residential suburb in Aleppo city with shells that contained toxic gas, according to SANA.
More than 35 people suffered suffocation due to the attack, which was launched by the terrorist organizations positioned on the western outskirts of Aleppo city.
