Turkish Military Operations in Northern Syria Flagrant Violation of International Law: Former Czech PM
PRAGUE, (ST)-Former Czech Prime Minister Jiri Paroubek has stressed that the military operations carried out by the Turkish regime’s forces in northern Syria are a flagrant violation of international law, because they were not approved by the legitimate Syrian government.
In an article published on Tuesday by the Czech media, Paroubek warned that “by launching these military operations, Turkey seeks achieving its hegemony scheme over Syria’s northern territories”.
It seems that Turkey is exaggerating in assessing its power,” he added, pointing out that military intervention in Syria goes in full contradiction with the international law.
Besides its incessant support for terrorist organizations in Syria, The Turkish regime launched direct aggression on the Syrian territories in the north by bombarding several villages and towns using all kinds of weapons. The aggression came within the framework of the Turkish regime’s non-stopped attempts to violate the Syrian sovereignty under the pretext of fighting “Deash”, which is actually Turkey’s partner in stealing the Syrian oil and artifacts.
