European Solidarity Front warns against US destructive role in Syria

MADRID, (ST)-The European Solidarity Front for Syria has condemned the crimes being perpetrated by US-backed terrorist groups in Syria, calling for the Spanish people to stand by the Syrian people in confronting terrorism and its supporters.

The Front’s Head, Mr. Carlos Bath said during a gathering organized Sunday by the Front outside the U.S. Embassy in Madrid that the United States has brought terrorist mercenaries from all over the world and used them to destroy the Syrian state with the support of Gulf states and thousands of Arab and western media outlets to implement its aggressive plot.

He warned against the U.S. Administration’s destructive role in Syria, the land of peace and civilization.

On his part, Mr. George Roman [a member of the front] expressed sorrow over his country’s support for U.S. against Syria. “Spanish media outlets fabricate facts and events and mislead the Spanish public opinion about the crisis in Syria,” he said.

Another member of the Front, Mr. Miguel Sardinio referred to the crimes perpetrated by the successive U.S. Administrations in Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. He described the war backed by the current U.S. President Barack Obama against Syria as ‘dirty war’ based on supporting and arming terrorist organizations, especially the so-called ‘moderate opposition’.

He asserted that President Bashar Al-Assad is the only guarantee for Syria’s unity and sovereignty, calling for the Spanish people to stand by the Syrian people and leadership in confronting terrorism and its supporters.

Mrs. Milissa Rioz [ a participant in the gathering] said the U.S. is the cause of problems, terrorism and instability in all countries, especially Syria. She stressed her support for the Syrian people to preserve their country’s sovereignty and independence.
