Governmental delegation launches rehabilitation process at the Industrial Area of Fadloun 2 in Damascus Countryside

Damascus Countryside – A governmental delegation, headed by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, launched on Thursday the project of rehabilitating damaged infrastructure in the Industrial Area of Fadloun 2 in Damascus Countryside in preparation for the return of industrialists to run their facilities and plants.

The rehabilitation process will cover electricity networks, roads, sewer networks and all other infrastructure that was totally damaged by terrorism, SANA reported.

 

Premier Khamis decided to form working groups of industrialists and governmental bodies to determine the requirements to re-operate the facilities in the area according to a specific schedule, noted that daily reports on the course of repair works will be submitted.

Some industrialists clarified that the area includes 2400 facilities whose owners will work on re-operating them.

In Hosh Blas industrial area, the delegation was briefed on the situation there and was informed of some the problems facing the owners of the workshops and facilities.
