Army regains control over building blocks, inflicts heavy losses upon terrorists

 

Provinces – The army and armed forces continued targeting the Takfiri terrorist organizations across the country, destroying their positions, vehicles and equipment, and killing and injuring scores of their members, SANA reported.

Damascus

An army unit regained full control over 4 blocks of buildings to the southeast of Tal Abu Siyyeh in Khan al-Shih farms in the countryside of Damascus, inflicting heavy losses upon Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group in personnel and equipment.

A military source said that an army unit regained full control over 4 building blocks to the southeast of Tal Abu Siyyeh in Khan al-Shih farms in the countryside of Damascus after destroying the terrorists’ hideouts.

 

Aleppo

49 terrorists were killed and injured in the continued operations of the army against their gatherings northeast Aleppo city.

The army units targeted the terrorist organizations’ gatherings and positions in al-Sheikh Sa’eed, al-Sherfeh area, south of al-Ueijeh  to the northeast of Aleppo city.

The source added that the army killed 7 terrorists and injured 42 others, mostly affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations and destroyed machineguns-equipped cars.

One of the terrorist groups’ leaders, nicknamed Abu Aosh, was among the dead, according to the source.

Daraa

Army units destroyed gatherings and dens belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa al-Balad and Tafas in the northwestern countryside of Daraa southern province.
