The army continues its crackdown against terrorists in different provinces

Provinces – The army and armed forces continued on Saturday their crackdown against armed terrorist groups in different Syrian regions, seizing and destroying their weapons and killing many of them, SANA reported.

 Homs

A military source said that gatherings and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS terrorists were targeted in the countryside of Homs central province.

The source stressed that the Syrian Air Force lunched intensified strikes against ISIS gatherings in the surroundings of al-Shaer oil field, to the south of the third station and al Talila reserve in Palmyra countryside.

The strikes resulted in killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying vehicles and positions with all weapons inside them.

In the northern countryside of Homs, Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and there vehicles were targeted in Ghunaiman, Ezz Edin, Um Sharshouh and Talbisah.

Hama

In the neighboring Hama province, army units combed the town of Maan in the northern countryside of the province after earlier establishing control over the town.

The military source said that the army engineering units dismantled tens of explosive devices and mines in the farms of Ma’an town, 40 km to the north of Hama City before scores of terrorists were killed and the remnants fled away.

The source added that while combing the farms surrounding Maan town, army units seized 3 mortar launching pads, three 120-mm mortar cannons, about 50 mortar shells and a huge amount of gunpowder used in making explosives.

In the meantime, the Syrian Air Force destroyed command centers, tanks and vehicles for Jaish al-Fatah terrorists in Souran, Tibet al-Imam, al-Latamina and Maardes in the countryside of Hama province.

Aleppo

An army unit killed many members of a terrorist group who were positioned inside a tunnel in the vicinity of Aleppo Citadel in Aleppo city.

Idleb

The Air Force destroyed positions and vehicle convoys of Jaish al-Fatah terrorists in al-Tamaniaa in southern Idleb and in al-Najyeh and Hallouz in Jisr al-Shugour area in southwestern Idleb.

Lattakia

The Syrian Air Force killed a number of terrorists in Qarfous, Point 1101 and Point 1154 in the northern countryside of Lattakia province.

Daraa

In the southern Daraa province, army units fired artillery shells on two Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist groups in the northern foothills of Tuloul Khleif in the eastern countryside of the southern Daraa province, killing and injuring all members of the groups and destroying vehicles, mortars and an artillery for them.

In Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city, the army units destroyed a machine gun position and a bulldozer for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and killed and injured many of them in al-Nazihin Camp.

Deir Ezzor

In eastern Syria, the Syrian Air Force hit movements and gatherings of ISIS terrorists in al-Hamidiyeh, the Panorama, al-Orfi and to the north of Tal Brouk in Deir Ezzor province, leaving a number of them dead or wounded.
