Certain countries bent on disrupting regional equations

TEHRAN– Iran’s Parl. speaker said the recent developments in Syria has brought certain countries together to disrupt the current regional equations in their own favor, according to the Mehr News.

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani made the remark on Tuesday to a gathering in Qom, adding “today, the surrounding countries are gripped with security crisis, and the situation in Syria in the past few days has changed in a way that certain countries in the region have now become all the more determined to disrupt the regional equations in their own favor.”

“They do not want the Syrian crisis to be resolved, and intend to create discord among Muslims,” he said. “As of now, Israel is reaping the most benefits of the current conflict in Syria.”

Larijani went on to stress preparedness in facing the situation in the region, saying “the first part of this preparedness includes a comprehensive knowledge of the enemy, and the second part is economic capability that once realized, will lead the country toward prosperity.”

“The policy of the whole country, including the Parliament, is a focus on development of production and exports,” he added.
