Syrian Azzam wins gold medal

Syrian Karate player Osama Azzam has accomplished a remarkable achievement as he won the gold medal in the Karate competition of the World Shotokan Karate Championship which was hosted by the city of Burgas in Bulgaria.

Born in Suwaida, the 54 year-old –athlete has an eventful career as he trained the Suwaida team and the women’s national karate team.

It is to be noted that Azzam got a silver medal in the World Karate Championship which was staged in Serbia.
