The army establishes control over new area in Aleppo, kills more terrorists in southern provinces

 

Provinces – Units of army and armed forces resumed on Saturday their military operations against armed terrorist groups in different Syrian regions, killing terrorists and destroying their criminal equipment, SANA reported.

Aleppo

Army units in cooperation with the supporting forces established control over all of al-Oweijeh area reaching to al-Jandoul roundabout north of Aleppo city after inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorist organizations operating in it, a military source announced on Saturday.

 

Daraa

An army unit destroyed vehicles, dens and fortifications belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Haret al-Bajabjeh in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa southern province, killing or injuring many of them.

An army unit also confronted a terrorist attack from Ibta’a and Daael villages against a deserted battalion in the northern countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.

The terrorist organizations present in the villages of al-Hrak and al-Soura in the northeastern countryside targeted with rocket shells the towns of Qarfa, Namer, Kherbet Ghazaleh, causing material damage only.

Sweida

Army units killed scores of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the northwestern countryside of the southern Sweida province.

Over the past few hours, an army unit clashed with terrorist groups which attacked Waqam village, 37 km northwest of Sweida city, killing scores of their members and destroying their arms and ammunition.

Another army unit killed almost all members of a terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and injured others in the surroundings of Arika village in al-Lajat area, 24 km northwest of Sweida city.
