Terrorist Blast Targeting Wedding in Hassaka Claims at Least 30 Lives

HASSAKA, (ST)- At least 30 civilians were martyred in a terrorist suicide bombing that targeted a wedding in Hassaka Monday evening.

According to SANA reporter in Hassaka, a suicide bomber with an explosive belt blew himself up today evening in a wedding at al-Sanabel hall near Safeya village on the Hassaka-Qamishli road, killing 30 people and wounding 90 others some of them are in critical condition.

SANA reporter Haval Issa was among the injured people as he was close to the explosion site. His condition is stable now after he got necessary medical treatment.

The death toll may rise due to serious injuries.
