Chief of General Staff inspects army units operating in Hama’s northern countryside

Hama – Upon the directives of President Bashar al-Assad, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub, accompanied by a number of General Command officers, conducted a tour on Saturday during which he inspected the readiness of army units operating in Hama province’s northern countryside, SANA reported.

Ayoub was briefed by field commanders on the nature of the operations carried out against terrorist organizations, monitoring combat activities being carried out in one of the areas.

 

At the end of his tour, Ayoub provided the soldiers with instructions and stressed the need for them to maintain the highest degree of readiness to carry out their duties in the optimal manner.
