Syrian –Indonesian Reconstruction Cooperation

Damascus, (ST) – Minister of Public Works and Housing Eng. Hussein Arnous discussed with an Indonesian delegation representing Srobjaba company specialized in works of construction and reconstruction, ways of cooperation between the company and the Syrian companies and means of company’s contribution to the reconstruction phase in Syria.

 The minister confirmed the importance of the work of Indonesian companies in Syria and investment and cooperation with the Syrian construction companies in the reconstruction process, pointing to the importance of establishing joint partnership between Syrian and Indonesian companies, calling for the capability to provide a credit loan from Indonesia to implement projects needed by Syria.

For his part, Director of international Relations at the Company Yijaya Karya expressed the company’s desire to cooperate with the Ministry of Works and to take advantage of the company’s experience and expertise gained through the implementation of large projects in Malaysia, Dubai and Algeria.
