Seventeen People Martyred in Terrorist Rocket Attacks in Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Damascus

PROVINCES-Terrorist attacks within the past 48 hours in some Syrian provinces claimed the lives of 17 people and injured dozens.

 On Saturday,  Seven people were martyred in a rocket attack by ISIS terrorists on the neighborhoods of al-Joura and al-Qousor in Deir Ezzor city.

SANA reporter said the ISIS terrorists fired more than 20 rockets on the neighborhoods of al-Joura and al-Qousor in Deir Ezzor city, killing 7 people and injuring 22 others, most of them women and children.

 The attack also caused material damage to the public and private properties and to the houses of the citizens.

On Friday, 10 civilians were martyred  and 33 others were injured in terrorist rocket attacks against Aleppo, Deir Ezzor and Damascus, reported SANA.

The terrorists’ rockets claimed the lives of seven persons, including children, in Salah Eddein neighborhood in the city of Aleppo.

A source at Aleppo Police Command told SANA reporter that more than 15 rockets were fired by terrorists on Salah Eddein neighborhood in the northern parts of Aleppo.

the source added that more than 24 people were injured in the attack which also caused heavy material damage to properties.

In Deir Ezzor,three civilians were martyred in ISIS rocket attacks on al-Joura and al-Qusour neighborhoods of city.

According to SANA reporter, ISIS terrorists fired 25 rocket shells on the above mentioned neighborhoods, leaving three people dead and five others injured kin addition to material damage to properties.

In Damascus, four citizens were injured  due to a terrorist rocket attack on al-Mazzeh residential area in Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that two rocket shells landed on al-Mazzeh residential area, injuring four citizens and causing material damage to some houses.

The source added that the shells were fired from Jobar neighborhood in the eastern side of Damascus where terrorist groups affiliated to the so called “Jaish al-Islam” are positioned.
