Takfiri Groups’ Way of Thinking Threatening Regional Stability, Security

Tehran –Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said the thinking of Takfiri terrorist groups poses threats to regional security and stability.

He condemned yesterday’s terrorist attacks in Baghdad and Kabul which claimed scores of civilian lives and expressed sympathy with the Afghanistan and Iraqi nations.

He said as long as the international community lacks real and necessary will to recognize the Wahhabi roots of terrorist Takfiri groups and those countries which support the terrorist groups refrain from holding them accountable for their actions by threatening them with cutting supports, they will continue with their violent terrorist operations.

He warned that even a single day’s delay in treating this lethal disease will only make it spread to the whole world and initiate more serious and dangerous challenges.

Then, it will be too late to deal with the issue, the spokesman said.

Qasemi further urged world countries and the international organizations to shoulder their responsibilities and act according to their legal, international and ethical duties in conducting a real campaign against the anti-human phenomenon of terrorism and break silence towards the criminal acts of criminal terrorist groups and their sponsoring states.
