Speaker Abbas condemns today’s terrorist bombings

Damascus – Speaker of the People’s Assembly Haddiye Abbas stressed the importance of the martyrs’ families committees at the Assembly and the need for them to stay in touch with martyrs’ families to address their issues and concerns.

Meeting the chairman and members of the martyrs’ families committees on Monday, Abbas stressed that caring for martyrs’ families and injured people is a national duty and has priority, asserting that the blood of the martyrs who gave their life in defense of Syria will not go to waste, SANA reported.

 

She also condemned the terrorist bombings that took place on Monday in Tartous countryside, Damascus Countryside, Hasaka city, and Homs city which claimed scores of lives and injured many others.

Abbas also met Assembly members representing Tartous and Raqqa provinces, discussing with them issues of importance to the people of those provinces.
