Social Affairs Ministry signed MOU with SIF and ADRA

The Syrian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs separately signed last month two memoranda of understanding with the French Islamic Relief Organization  [Secour Islamique France] and the Adventist Development and Relief Agency [ADRA].

The first MOU, which was signed with the ADRA on August 18th, comes within the ministry’s efforts being exerted to expand partnership with the international donor organization and it aims to develop capabilities, to train cadres, to finance and implement social care programs and to empower the most vulnerable groups.

The same goals are mentioned in the second MOU, which was signed one week later with the SIF to meet the requirements of the current stage in Syria.

According to the ministry’s press office, the joint cooperation with the ADRA was approved –during a short time- in coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged on Syria targeting its people, army, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with the US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.

About 360.000 foreign terrorists from 93 countries came to fight against the Syrians from April 2011 till January 2016, according to the German Firil Center for Studies. While media reports have confirmed that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, the U.S., France, Britain and Israel support – by all means-terrorist organizations operating in Syria.
