The army takes control of a position in Daraa, Air Force intensifies strikes in Hama

Provinces – The army launched operations against the terrorists’ positions in several areas, hitting  the targets directly and causing casualties and material losses upon their ranks, SANA reported.

Daraa

Military source announced on Friday that an army unit took control of the battalion to the east of Ibtaa town in the countryside of Daraa after inflicting losses upon the terrorists there and destroying their weapons and equipment.

A special operations force of the army raided a hideout for terrorists to the northeast of al-Yadouda town in the western countryside of Daraa province.

 

The operation was successful and the force members went back to their positions after having killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and ammunition, according to the source.

The source also said that army units destroyed two command centers for the terrorist organizations, with the munitions inside, one in Tariq al-Sad neighborhood and the other to the south of Souq al-Hal in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.

Army units directed intensive strikes on the gatherings and dens of terrorist organizations to the south of Daraa city, to the west of Gharaz Prison and to the south of al-Mohandseen Building on al-Sad Road, killing number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Hama

Meanwhile, the Syrian Air Force destroyed three tanks, a rocket launcher and scores of vehicles for the terrorist organizations and killed a large number of their members as it targeted their gatherings and positions in the villages and towns of Maardas, Souran, al-Zalaqiyat, al-Tamaniaa, Atshan, Kafr Zita, al-Zaatar hill, al-Latamina and on Kawlab-Souran road in the northern countryside of Hama.

A large convoy of vehicles for terrorists was also hit in army air strikes on the road linking Tibet al-Imam, Hilfaya and al-Latamina, leaving several terrorist dead.

Damascus Countryside

A military source said that an Army and Armed Forces unit repelled terrorist groups affiliated to Jaish al-Islam terror organization as they were attempting to infiltrate and attack in large numbers a number of military positions in the direction of Tal al-Sawwan, al-Rihan Farms, and Maida’ani in the Eastern Ghouta part of Damascus Countryside, eliminating many terrorists and destroying two tanks they had been using.
