The Forum for Syria and the Syrian Community in Hungary have denounced Turkey’s blatant aggression on the Syrian territories, stressing that the aggression ignores the international law and breaches Syria’s sovereignty.
They said in a statement released Wednesday that the acts of the Ottoman government are similar to that of the United States which invades the sovereign states without UN approval.
The members and leader of the forum expressed regret over the United Nation’s negative stance towards the Turkish aggression on the Syrian territories.
“The aggression aims to replace terrorist organizations with other terrorist organizations and to reshuffle the cards in order to hinder the political solution to the crisis in Syria,” the statement said, calling on the Turkish regime to stop its aggression and its support for terrorism.
War crime
On August 29th, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said that the Turkish tanks and warplanes in coordination with Turkey-backed armed terrorist groups randomly bombed the villages of Jeb al-Koussa and al-Amarneh in the south of Jarablus city in Aleppo, killing at least 35 civilians and wounding dozens.
The bombardment also caused damage to private and public properties and to the infrastructures of the two villages, according to the ministry, which sent letter to the UN Security Council on the aggression.
“Fighting terrorism on the Syrian territories by any party should be done in coordination with the Syrian government and the Syrian Arab army,” the ministry added, affirming that Turkish regime’s crimes and attacks are condemned by all moral and legal standards and they are war crimes and a crime against humanity whether these crimes were committed directly by the Turkish army or indirectly by Turkish regime’s tools and terrorist agents such as the so-called “Free Army” or the other terror groups like “ISIS”, “Jabhat al-Nusra”,” Ahrar al-Sham”, “Nour Eddin Zinki”, “Liwaa al-Tawheed”, “Liwaa Shuhada Badr”, “Liwaa al-Muhajereen”, “the Islamic Front” and the “Western Turkistan organization”.
It stressed that Turkey also continue its support for terrorists in Syria, indicating that the Turkish media reported on August 28, 2016 that the Turkish regime allowed more than 3000 terrorists to enter into Syria across the Syrian-Turkish borders in order to join the terrorist organizations in the country.
The ministry appealed to the UN Security Council to condemn these coward crimes and to adopt effective measures that force Erdogan to stop supporting terrorism and using it as a means to interfere in Syria’s internal affairs.”
“The Turkish forces have not fired a single bullet at the ISIS terrorists, rather the ISIS terrorists have joined the Turkish forces and have helped them to enter the city of Jarablus,” the ministry confirmed.
Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged on Syria targeting its people, army, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with the US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
About 360.000 foreign terrorists from 93 countries came to fight against the Syrians from April 2011 till January 2016, according to the German Firil Center for Studies. While media reports have confirmed that Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, the U.S., France, Britain and Israel support – by all means-terrorist organizations operating in Syria.
