Syrians Determined to Pursue Defense of Syria
DAMASCUS, (ST)_ H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad pointed out that scores of friendly countries, including India, have stood by the Syrian People in concrete bolstering of the steadfastness of Syria in the face of the war imposed by regional and Western states..
Receiving the visiting Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Mobashar Jawed Akbar and an accompanying delegation here Saturday, President Assad added that such states used the terrorist organization, backed them with different means and so far obstructed the finding of a peaceful solution as to halt the blood shedding, destruction and terrorists crimes against the People of Syria.
The Syrians are determined as to pursue the defense of their homeland and its integrity notwithstanding of all pressures and sufferings as far as security, economy and daily living.
Minister Mobashar Jawed Akbar underscored necessity for cooperation with Syria in the field of fighting terrorism boosting the successes achieved by the Syrians in this field considering it a mistake as not to recognize the risks of terrorism against international stability and human civilization.
The visiting Indian Minister voiced India’s willingness as to provide Syria with what might alleviate the suffering of the Syrian People and bolster their steadfastness and might actively contribute to development process and to rebuilding process.
The talks focused at conditions in Syria and the risks of terrorism against the region and the whole world.
The standing strong relations between Syria and India throughout decades in light of the shared desire by both friendly countries as to upgrade bilateral relations at many levels were discussed.
