Cessation of hostilities breached 6 more times in the past 24 hours

 

Lattakia – The number of breaches of the cessation of hostilities agreement rose to 1009 after 6 new breaches were observed in Damascus and Lattakia in the past 24 hours.

According to the Hmeimim-based Russian center monitoring the agreement, which came into effect on February 27, the terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al- Islam” attacked with mortar shells many towns in the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside, while the terrorists of the so- called “Ahrar al-Sham” shelled Shalaf Citadel in Lattakia countryside, SANA reported.

The center pointed out that 11 new towns joined the agreement, raising the total of the towns and cities joining the agreement to 421.

 

The center highlighted that two tons of humanitarian aid most of them food were delivered to the locals of Marmaretta town in Homs countryside as six more tones were delivered to orphanage in Aleppo city, adding that a Russian plane dropped 11 tons of food aid over the ISIS- besieged Deir Ezzor city.

The cessation of hostilities agreement is not applicable to ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra or other groups designated internationally as terrorist organizations.
