Damascus, (ST) – Prime Minister Imad Khamis and the Sudanese Ambassador in Damascus Khaled Ahmed Mohammed Ali on Sunday discussed mechanisms to promote and develop cooperation between the two countries in the areas of trade, agriculture, culture and investment.
The Premier reviewed economic and developmental challenges, the damage caused by the terrorist war on Syria and the unfair sanctions imposed by the West on the Syrian people.
He confirmed the Syrian government’s keenness to promote the level of bilateral relations, strengthen consultation between the two countries in various fields, expand trade relations and open new horizons for cooperation in industrial, agricultural and developmental domains.
For his part, the Sudanese Ambassador expressed his country’s desire to activate and develop economic relations between the two countries at official levels and non-governmental organizations through mutual visits, stressing his country’s support for Syria and its people.
