The army eliminates 60 terrorists in Homs, destroys a command center in Daraa

Provinces – Units of the army and the armed forces on Saturday destroyed vehicles and a command center of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Daraa southern province.

A military source said that a unit of the army carried out special operations against dens and gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the neighborhood of al-Sad Road and to the east of Khazan al-karak in Daraa al-Balad area, SANA reported.

The source added that a command center of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and a gathering of their vehicles were destroyed in the strikes, in addition to killing a number of them and injuring others.

Another army unit destroyed a terrorists’ command center, killing all the members of the terrorist group in al-Naziheen camp in Daraa al-Balad in the Province.

Sweida

An army unit destroyed a number of oil tanks for ISIS terrorist organization in the area of al-Rashida wells, about 38 km east of Sweida Province, killing and injuring a number of its members.

Homs

Army units thwarted an infiltration attempt of ISIS terrorists towards military posts to the east of al-Sawame’ (silos) area, 15 km east of Palmyra in Homs province.

Clashes erupted between the infiltrating terrorists and the army units during which more than 60 terrorists were either killed or injured and a number of vehicles, some equipped with machine guns, were destroyed, according to the military source.

The so-called “Emir of Central Area”, the terrorist who is nicknamed Abu Torab, was identified among the dead.

An army unit killed ISIS terrorists who infiltrated from the villages of Rahoum and Unq al-Hawa into Jeb al-Jarrah town and Maksar al-Hossan village in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Deir Ezzor

A number of positions and gatherings of ISIS terrorists were hit in strikes by the army’s artillery and air force in the surroundings of al-Tharda and Ayash village and in the neighborhoods of al-Rushdiyeh, al-Hamidiyeh and al-Jbeiliyeh in Deir Ezzor province. Many terrorists were killed or injured in the strikes.
