International Education Exhibition kicks off in Damascus

Over 60 universities, institutes and learning, teaching, scientific, training and language centers are taking part in the International Education Exhibition kicked off Tuesday in the ‘Dama Rose’ Hotel in Damascus.

The three-day exhibition is being held under the title ‘ learn today…. lead tomorrow’ and it includes several symposiums and lectures of strategic goals that aim to build the future of Syria, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency clarified that scientific projects, photos, magazines and information about private universities and centers are being exposed in the exhibition.

It interviewed some participants, who asserted that the exhibition is an opportunity for students to have a complete idea about specializations in the universities, institutes and centers.

Syrian youths are determined to continue their studies despite the terror war being waged on the country since 2011.

Many universities, institutes and teaching centers have been targeted by foreign-backed terrorist organization in Syria in order to stop the process of education.

Last July, the al-Thawra newspaper [In Arabic Language] reported that terror attacks have killed at least 119 students and employees of Damascus University (DU) since the start of the war on Syria.
