Defense Minister Inspects Army Formations in Aleppo

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Under the directives of  President Bashar Al-Assad, Commander in Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Defense Minister, Lt. General Fahd Jasem al-Freij inspected the armed forces operating in Aleppo.

The minister was briefed by field commanders on the details of combat operations and on the preparedness of the army formations in the confrontation of the terrorist takfiri organizations, according to a statement by the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces.

 Al-Freij stressed the General Command’s determination to complete the process of restoring security to Aleppo, defeat the terrorists and foil their schemes, reiterating that the Syrians trust their brave army and pin their hopes on its sacrifices and efforts to restore security and stability countrywide, the General Command added.

It concluded by saying that the soldiers vowed loyalty to Syria and affirmed their full readiness to offer more sacrifices and do their best to protect Syria and achieve the hoped-for victory over Syria’s enemies and their colonialist schemes.
