The need to invest the Syrian youths’ capabilities through voluntary institutes that take care of their talents and creativities was discussed during a symposium held Monday in the Abo Remmaneh Cultural Center in Damascus.
The participants in the symposium, which was held by the Damascus Trust for National Principles under the title ‘ Youths’ role in consolidating national awareness, stressed that the youths have paid high price for confronting the terror war being waged on Syria since 2011.
“The Youths should be addressed in a more convenient way, and their problems and suggestion must be taken into consideration,” the participants said, according to the official news agency (SANA).
The agency quoted the expert in Human Development Dr. Hani al-Khoury as saying that youths will rebuild Syria so it is necessary to enhance their sense of belonging to the homeland in the light of spread of the dangerous phenomenon of Youths’ immigration.
He underlined that there must be real representatives for youths’ causes.
Since 2011, a foreign-backed terror war has been waged on Syria targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures in accordance with the US-Zionist plot that aims to fragment the region and to have hegemony over its wealth.
Media reports recently said that the number of foreign terrorists, who came to fight against the Syrian army from April 2011 till January 2016, reached up to 360.000.
