President Rouhani: World Admits Iran’s Role in international Security
President Hassan Rouhani in a meeting with Iranian expatriates in Baku underlined that all countries admit Iran’s crucial role in restoration of security in the region.
‘Today, all countries of the world admit Iran’s role in establishment of regional security as positive, influential and positive,’ President Rouhani said during the meeting in the Azeri capital on Sunday.
President Rouhani pointed to the peculiarities and advantages of Azerbaijan as compared with other neighbors of Iran in terms of religious and historical commonalities, and said, ‘We should take advantage of this opportunity for meeting the interests of the two nations and two countries in a good manner.’
‘The 11th government has applied the win-win policy not only in the nuclear talks, but in its relations with other countries,’ he added.
President Rouhani underlined that if the nuclear talks were also winning-lose we would have never succeeded and in case of success it would not last long.
Foreign enemies and their agents want insecurity in the region, says RahmaniFazli
On the other hand, Interior Minister Abdol Reza RahmaniFazli said on Sunday that foreign enemies and their agents in the region want insecurity in the region.
He made the remarks in meeting with Afghanistan National Security Advisor Mohammad HanifAtmar.
RahmaniFazli said that the Islamic Republic of Iran is keen on consolidation of relations with the brotherly and friendly neighboring country of Afghanistan.
He called for strengthening of political, economic, security and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
The interior minister said that US and Israel are the common enemies of the Iranian and Afghan people and their agents in the region do not want security in the region citing to the terrorist operations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
Rahmani Fazli said that Tehran-Kabul 5th joint economic commission due to be held in Tehran in the current week to reach agreements on water resources, Afghan refugees, drug-trafficking, transit of goods and border security.
Atmar said that friendship with Iran is a great national asset for Afghanistan.
He appreciated Iran’s help fight terrorism and campaign against divergent groups such as Daesh.
He made it clear that Afghanistan believes that there is no good terrorism and the best way to confront with terrorism is to strengthen friendly ties with governments of the neighboring states.
