Army targets ISIS and other terrorist organizations across the country

Provinces – The Army and Armed Forces on Wednesday continued targeting positions and vehicles of terrorists from ISIS and other terror organizations across the country, with the Syrian Air Force destroying ISIS positions and vehicles in Deir Ezzor, SANA reported.

Deir Ezzor

A military source said that the Syrian Air Force destroyed three positions and vehicles equipped with machineguns and carrying weapons and ammunition for ISIS terrorists in al-Morey’ieh, al-Boghail’yeh, and to the south of the Panorama and al-Jneineh in Deir Ezzor.

Sources on the ground said that ISIS “Emir” of Husseiniyeh village, terrorist Turki al-Hassa’a, was killed along with seven of his companions in a military operation by the Army and Armed Forces.

Daraa

A number of terrorists were killed and others were injured in precise operations carried out by units of the Army and Armed Forces in Daraa province.

A military source said that an army unit on Wednesday morning carried out intensive strikes against a terrorist group positioned near al-Bahhar cemetery in Daraa al-Balad area.

The source added that most of the terrorist group’s members were killed in the strikes, others were injured, and a number of their vehicles and equipment were destroyed.

Another army unit destroyed a den of terrorists in the area surrounding al-Thaila hill in the western part of Daraa city.

Meanwhile, most members of terrorist group linked to Jabhat al-Nusra were killed to the southeast of Khazan al-Karak in Daraa al-Balad, according to the source.

Another army unit destroyed terrorists’ fortified positions to the east of the Electricity Institution, killing a number of terrorists and inuring others in the vicinity of Bosra Square in Daraa al-Mahata area.

Sweida

A unit of the Army and Armed Forces carried out an operation against a gathering of the ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Sweida province, inflicting heavy losses upon them in the arms and personnel.

A military source said that two of the ISIS vehicles were destroyed in the operation, one of them equipped with heavy machinegun, and a number of terrorists were killed in al-Muftira town in the eastern countryside of the province.

Quneitra

An Army and Armed Forces unit, in cooperation with public defense forces, clashed with terrorists who approached from the direction of Mashara village towards a military posts in Tal al-Bazaq in Quneitra countryside.

A source on the ground said that the clashes ended with killing a number of terrorists, including the terrorists’ leader Yosef Hamdan, and injuring others.

A 14.5mm machinegun used by the terrorists was also destroyed during the clashes with a guided missile along with the terrorists who were operating it, including terrorist Abu Bakr Mashara.

Terrorist organizations acknowledge death of 64 terrorists in Aleppo southern countryside

Terrorist organizations acknowledged the death of 64 of their members, including some of their leaders, in Aleppo’s southern countryside during the past 24 hours.

The terrorist organizations said on their websites that scores of their members were killed, including the deputy of the military official of southern Aleppo countryside in Ahrar al-Cham movement Abu Bakr al-Shami, and terrorists Abu Hamza al-Shami, Mohammad Hassan al-Khateeb, Haitham al-Darweesh, and Mohammad Abdul-Qder Jababini who were field leaders in al-Jabha al-Chamia, al-Cham legion, and Jaish al-Fateh terrorist organizations.

Terrorist organizations also admitted that a Lebanese terrorist nicknamed “Abu Sabri” who was affiliated to “al-Tahreer party” was killed along with tens of terrorists from al-Jabha al-Chamia, Jaish al-Islam, al-Cham legion, the Northern Battalion, and Ahrar al-Cham movement terror organizations.
