A civilian martyred, 11 others injured in terrorist attacks

 

Daraa/Hama – A civilian was martyred and 5 others were injured due to terrorist mortar attack targeted hundreds of people in Mothabin town in Daraa province.

A source at Daraa governorate said that the terrorist organizations fired mortar shells on hundreds of people while they were gathering for holding local reconciliation in the town of Mothabin in the northern countryside of the province, killing a civilian and injuring 5 others, among them a child, SANA reported.

The source added that the injured were admitted to al-Sanamin Hospital.

Locals of the town said that terrorists’ attempts to foil the reconciliation doomed to failure , showing determination to establish the reconciliation and restore stability to their town and the neighboring villages.

Daraa province witnessed, during the last few months, a number of local reconciliations after scores of gunmen had turned themselves in to authorities and handed over their weapons in order to have their situation settled.

 

In Hama, five people got injured  when terrorists of the so-called “Jaish al-Fateh” fired rocket shells on Sheezer village to the northwest of the city.

A source at Hama Police Command told SANA that terrorist groups positioned in the northern countryside of Hama targeted Sheezer village with three rocket shells, injuring five people, one of whom is in a critical condition.

It added that material damage was caused to private and public properties in the place the rockets landed.

The source noted that terrorists also fired three rocket shells on al-Baath neighborhood at the western part of Hama city, leaving material damage only.

In Idleb, a citizen was injured on Sunday by terrorist shooting on the residential neighborhoods of the terrorist-besieged al-Fouaa town in the northern countryside of Idleb province.

Local sources in al-Fouaa town said that terrorist groups affiliated to Jaish al-Fatah located in Binish town targeted on Sunday morning shootings residential neighborhoods of the town with sniper fire, injuring a citizen in his neck, SANA added.
