Some 50,000tons of Grapes for the current season in Sweida

Sweida, (ST) – Sweida Agriculture Directorate estimated the total production of the province of grapes for the current season about 50, 000 tons.

Head of the Plant Wealth Department at the Directorate of Agriculture Eng.  Akram Sarai Eddinsai in a statement to local press that the expected the production for the current season is more than good compared to the last few years.

The total areas planted with vine-producing grapes estimated at 9014 hectares and the total number of trees is 3,000,926 trees and the number of the productive trees is estimated at 323,000trees.
