DPRK’s Ambassador says President al-Assad’s wisdom enhances Syrian people’s steadfastness
Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Syria has declared that the wisdom of the leaderships in both Pyongyang and Damascus enhances the steadfastness of the two countries’ people to confront the U.S. incessant pressures on them.
Mr. Zhang Meng Hu told the Tishreen newspaper that he is closely watching the improvement of situation in Syria and he is sure the Syrian people will achieve victory over its enemy due to the wise policy of President Bashar al-Assad.
He affirmed that his country, which has strong relations with Syria, supports the Syrian people in confronting its enemy.
“The Syrian people’s steadfastness is based on two main points. The first one is the unity between the army, the people and President Bashar Al-Assad. While the second is that what is going on in Syria is a global war on the country not an internal crisis,” the diplomat said.
His remark was made on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Syrian-Korean relations.
Since 2011, Syria has faced a foreign-backed terror war targeting its army, people, civilization and infrastructures.
