President Al-Assad Receives Congratulation on Eid al-Fitr

DAMASCUS– President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received a number of congratulation cables on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

According to the state news agency SANA, Minister of Religious Endowments Mohammad Abdel Sattar al-Sayyed offered congratulations on behalf of himself and religious scholars and preachers and workers at his Ministry, praying for Syria to be victorious over its enemies and praying for the souls of its martyrs.

 Justice Minister sent a congratulatory cable on behalf of himself, the Higher Judicial Council, judges, lawyers, and his Ministry’s staff, hoping that peace will prevail in Syria and terrorism and its supporters will be defeated.

Likewise, Grand Mufti of the Republic Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun offered in the cable he sent best wishes for the Syrian people and for the Syrian Arab Army, saying that Syria’s future will be bright.

First Sharia Judge of Damascus Mahmoud al-Muarrawi also sent a cable in which he wished a happy holiday for President al-Assad and his family and for the whole Arab and Islamic world.
