Syrian Army is the Most Effective Military Force in the Fight against “ISIS”: Former Slovak Premier

BRATISLAVA, (ST)-Former Slovak Prime Minister Jan Carnogursky has stressed that the Syrian Arab Army has been the most effective military force in the fight against “ISIS” terrorist organization.

”Despite this fact, the United States pressures its European allies to not have contacts with the Syrian government and it continues to impose economic sanctions on the Syrian people,” Carnogursky told the Czech “Halo Novini” newspaper on Monday, pointing out that such practices have forced many Syrians to leave their homeland and travel to European countries, a matter that caused a problem to Europe, not to the United States.

The Slovak official clarified that the United States is the source of tension in the Middle East and the entire world, warning that Washington is trying to encircle Russia by a system of military bases that include nuclear weapons. Such moves would pose serious threat to the world and would lead Europe to be engaged in wars with which the Europeans have nothing to do, he said.
