Army restores security to al-Ramliyeh in Hama

Provinces – The army operations against positions of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organizations have resulted in the death of many of their members and the destruction of their vehicles and equipment, SANA reported.

Hama

A military source said that an army unit, in cooperation with popular defense groups, restored security and stability to al-Ramliyeh village in the southern countryside of Salamiyeh city  in Hama province on Sunday.

 

The source added that the army unit also controlled the hills surrounding the village, after a military operation against al-Nusra Front terrorist organization during which more than 60 terrorists killed.

Earlier, army units, in cooperation with popular defense groups, clashed with terrorist groups of the so called Jaish al- Tawheed, Jond Badr 313, Ansar al-Shari’a and Homs legion which sneaked into the village of al- Ramlia, a field source said.

The source affirmed that the clashes ended up with killing and injuring a number of terrorists while others fled away leaving the bodies of their dead ones behind.

The killed terrorists included Asmar al-Wazir, Basel Abu Udai and Mohamad Yahiya al-Mari’e.

On Saturday, Army units inflicted losses upon ISIS terrorists and destroyed one of their heavy machinegun-equipped vehicle at Talat Rasiya al- Hamra to the east of al-Moufaker town in Salamiyeh countryside.

Daraa

An Army unit carried out an operation against Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the eastern countryside of Daraa province.

A number of terrorists got killed in the operation, which targeted their movements on the road linking Um al-Mayazen with al-Nueimeh, 10 km east of Daraa, according to a military source.

Deir Ezzor

The Syrian warplanes destroyed two ISIS centers and a number of vehicles in Altharda Mountain and al-Mrei’iyeh, and in the areas of al-Tabieh and al-Shamieh in Deir Ezzor province.
