Eight civilians killed, scores injured in terrorist attacks in Lattakia and Aleppo

 

 Provinces – Two civilians were martyred and four others were injured in a terrorist suicide attack in al- Daatour neighborhood in Lattakia city.

A source at Lattakia police command said that a terrorist on a motorcycle blew himself up near al-Khulafaa al-Rashideen Mosque in al-Daatour neighborhood in Lattakia city, according to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The attack left two civilians dead and four others injured.

Aleppo – A girl was martyred and five other civilians were injured Thursday in terrorist groups’ rocket shells and sniper shootings at al-Ramouse neighborhood in Aleppo.

A police command source said that terrorists positioned in al-Ameriya neighborhood launched rocket shells and snipers opened fire at locals of al-Ramouse claiming the life of a university-girl student, injuring five other civilians and inflicting damages to citizens’ properties and houses, SANA reported.

Earlier Wednesday, a woman was martyred and 39 other civilians were injured by terrorist groups’ attacks on several residential neighborhoods of Aleppo in a violation of the cessation of hostilities agreement which came into effect since 27 February 2016.

  Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists fire shells on Baath city in Quneitra

 Quneitra – Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on Thursday fired mortar shells on residential neighborhoods in al-Baath city in Quneitra southern province in coincidence with the Baccalaureate general exams, causing material damage only.

A source at the Police Command said that the terrorists fired three mortar shells, causing material damage only to the houses of citizens, SANA added.
