Army continues its operations across the country, killing dozens of terrorists

Provinces – Army and Armed Forces units and the Syrian Air Force continued targeting ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terror organizations across the country, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles, SANA reported.

Hama

The army foiled on Friday an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization on military posts in Hama countryside, killing a large number of them.

Army units clashed with the attackers who attempted to attack a number of military posts in the surroundings of Maan town from the directions of Atshan, Tal Skeik and Um Hartain in the northern countryside of the central Hama province, a military source said.

 

The clashes resulted in the death of more than 50 terrorists and the destruction of 9 of their vehicles, two of which are armored and equipped with heavy machineguns.

Homs

The Syrian army air force destroyed a main site of ISIS in the area surrounding Jbab Hamad village to the east of Homs city, according to a military source.

The source added that the Syrian airstrikes destroyed ISIS gatherings and vehicles as a number of ISIS terrorists were killed and injured.
