“With great sorrow and sadness I received the news about the terrorist attacks in Lattakia, Tartous and other residential districts in Syria that claimed the lives of scores of innocent people and wounded many others,” Sargsyan said in his cable.

“I express my sincere grief to you, the friendly people of Syria and the relatives of the victims, wishing fortitude, endurance and speedy recovery to those injured,” President Sargsyan added.

He stressed that  “these horrifying crimes against the civilian population of Syria can have no justification. We strictly condemn terrorism in all its forms, and call on the international community to continue the fight against this evil with united efforts.”
