Brutal bombings, desperate attempt to hide victories of Syrian army

The recent brutal terrorist attacks that were committed by takfiri terrorist groups in Lattakia and Tartous are part of a strategy put forward by Al-Saud Regime, Qatar and Erdogan with the aim of terrifying Syrian people, destroying Syria and dividing it into mini-states on sectarian basis in implementation of the sinister US Zionist project. The escalation of terrorist actions in a number of Syrian areas comes upon orders from the terrorist organizations’ backers and financers on top Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey in an attempt to hide the victories achieved by the Syrian Army at all fronts and to raise the morals of the terrorists to achieve false victory on the ground.

The coward terrorist actions, which aim at destabilizing the country, would not derail Syrians from continuing their daily life and taking part in rebuilding and enhancing the capabilities of their country as well as facing challenges

The terrorist bombings,  killing, assassination and targeting civilians reflect the nature of terrorist organizations and their escape from the real confrontation with the Syrian army. What happened in Jableh and Tartous reaffirms that terrorist organizations like Ahrar al-Sham, Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS are groups of cowards and killers unable to confront the Syrian army. Those terrorist groups should know that the Syrians will not forgive them and they will pay a high cost for their crimes.

These brutal attacks were preceded by an atrocious massacre committed against the defenceless people of al-Zara village. After infiltrating intoal-Zara village in southern Hama at dawn while its people were sleeping, terrorist groups raided homes and killed children, women and elderly in a brutal manner and abducted a number of others in a horrific bloody massacre. The massacre was perpetrated by Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement terrorist organizations and other factions allied with them, which some Western and other countries still insist on classifying them as “moderate armed groups”.

Before the massacre happened, the terrorists had shelled the village using mortars, rockets and homemade (Hell) cannons, leaving many civilian casualties and causing huge damage to houses and public and private properties. The terrorists also executed a number of civilians at a bridge in al-Rastan area, while scores were injured in attacks.

The Turkish regime and Gulf States’ support to the terrorists aims at igniting sedition and dragging the people of the region into bloody conflicts in service of Israel’s interest. The international community is legally and morally responsible for those terrorist actions and it should interfere and put pressure on the states backing terrorism which threatens the international security and stability.

Committing this appalling massacre goes in line with the series of the systematic terrorist attacks targeting many Syrian cities that are being carried out under direct orders from the regimes of extremism in Riyadh, Ankara and Doha. These brutal attacks, are aimed at foiling the efforts seeking to stop the Syrian bloodshed through derailing Geneva talks and thwarting the truce arrangements and the cessation of hostilities in the country.

The new massacres came at a time when the Security Council representatives of the US, France, Britain and Ukraine have declined to place Jaish al-Islam and Ahrar al-Sham on the Council’s list of terrorist groups. This, proves that these countries are encouraging criminal acts committed by these terrorist groups and insisting on turning blind eyes and deaf ears to them and shows that they are not serious about fighting terrorism and maintaining the cessation of hostilities.

The Syrian people will press ahead in combating terrorism, enhancing national reconciliation and facing the repercussions of the economic and media war which targets the national economy and the Syrian state.
