The Syrian Ministry of Tourism has launched an initiative entitled ‘I belong to’ in Italy in order to shed light on Syria’s civilization and to give the Syrian expatriates an opportunity to support their homeland economically as well as to encourage them to visit it.
The initiative realizes the desire of large number of Syrians all over the world, Tourism Minister BisherYazegy said- through the internet- during a symposium held Sunday in Italy under the same title ‘I belong to’.
He referred to the initiatives launched by Syrian expatriates in all levels for supporting their homeland during the crisis.
‘I belong to’ initiative started by the end of last August is based on designing tourist icons showing Syrian heritage to sell them abroad in cooperation with Syrian embassies and communities.
By the beginning of this month, the initiative was launched in Poland’s Capital, Warsaw, to preserve humanity’s heritage and tourism elements in Syria.
Photos of destruction took place in several areas in Syria as a result of terror acts plus handicrafts and tourist icons were featured in an exhibition held in the city of Warsaw during the activity.
